Terms of Service
Welcome to Aurum. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aurum protocol, website, decentralized application (DApp), and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By connecting a wallet or otherwise accessing Aurum, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Your continued use of the platform constitutes your ongoing acceptance of any modifications we may make to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Aurum is an on-chain marketplace for locked liquidity, providing tools including but not limited to:
Buying and selling locked LP positions through trustless escrow smart contracts.
On-chain auctions with transparent bidding for fair price discovery.
Private listings via unique link and whitelist-only deals.
Peer-to-peer lending against locked LP and any ERC-20 token.
Telegram bot notifications for LP listings, bids, sales, and loans.
AI-powered risk scoring for token, pool, and liquidity-structure analysis.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.
3. Wallet Connection and Security
3.1 Access
To interact with the Aurum DApp, you must connect a compatible cryptocurrency wallet. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, and seed phrases.
3.2 Responsibility
All transactions initiated from your connected wallet are your responsibility. Aurum does not have access to your private keys and cannot reverse or modify on-chain transactions. You must ensure you are interacting with the correct Aurum smart contracts at all times.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
4.1 Ownership of the Service
The Aurum protocol, its smart contract architecture, website, branding, and original content are and will remain the exclusive property of Aurum and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
4.2 Protocol Outputs
Transactions executed through the Aurum DApp are governed by the underlying smart contracts. Aurum does not claim ownership over any LP positions, tokens, or assets transacted through the platform.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use Aurum for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including:
Illegal Activity: Using the Service to facilitate money laundering, fraud, or any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Market Manipulation: Engaging in wash trading, spoofing, or any form of artificial price manipulation on the platform.
Exploits: Attempting to exploit vulnerabilities in the smart contracts, escrow mechanisms, or any other component of the protocol.
Reverse Engineering: Attempting to extract the source code or underlying architecture of proprietary Aurum systems beyond what is publicly available on-chain.
Unauthorized Automation: Using bots or scripts to interact with the DApp in a manner that disrupts normal operation for other users.
6. Fees
6.1 Platform Fees
Aurum charges a 10% fee on successful LP sales and auctions, and a flexible fee on each loan issued, determined by loan duration. Fees are deducted automatically by the smart contracts at the time of transaction settlement.
6.2 Fee Distribution
30% of platform fees are distributed to referrers through the on-chain referral program. 70% of platform fees are allocated to buybacks and burning of the $AURUM token.
6.3 Gas Fees
All on-chain interactions require network gas fees, which are paid directly to the blockchain network and are not controlled by Aurum.
7. Risks
7.1 Smart Contract Risk
While Aurum's smart contracts are developed with security as a priority, no smart contract is entirely free from risk. You acknowledge that interacting with on-chain protocols carries inherent risks including but not limited to bugs, exploits, and unforeseen vulnerabilities.
7.2 Market Risk
The value of locked LP positions, tokens, and cryptocurrency assets is volatile and can fluctuate significantly. Aurum does not guarantee any returns, yields, or profits from using the Service.
7.3 Regulatory Risk
The regulatory landscape for decentralized finance and digital assets is evolving. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
8. Termination
We may restrict or block wallet addresses from accessing the DApp at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases involving breach of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or compliance with legal requirements.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Aurum, nor its founders, team members, advisors, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, tokens, digital assets, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Your access to or use of the Service and smart contracts.
Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
Loss of funds due to user error, wallet compromise, or incorrect transaction parameters.
Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your wallet or transactions.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Aurum makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the protocol, smart contracts, AI risk scoring, or any data provided through the Service. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or that the operation will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Aurum operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Aurum interacts primarily with public blockchain data. Any off-chain data collected through the website or Telegram bot is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide notice through the website or official communication channels prior to any new terms taking effect.
